Genealogical
and Historical
Research
Genealogical Research
Millions of Americans actively research their own family trees. Millions more are
interested in their family history but don't have the time for research or don't know how
to find the answers to their family mysteries.
With more than twenty years of research experience, Mary Penner can help you find
your ancestors. Research can focus on one individual or on an entire family tree. Mary
consults a wide variety of sources, including census records, vital records, court
records, historical newspapers, and many more types of records, to piece together a
picture of your ancestor's life.
Legal Research
Using original records, Mary locates heirs for probate and quiet title cases, and she
conducts deed research for property matters.
Historical Research
Assisting historians and authors, Mary conducts research using original documents on
historical people, places, and events.
Regional Specialty
Many New Mexicans can trace their roots back more than 400 years. Living in New
Mexico, Mary has access to the records and repositories that hold the answers to your
genealogical and historical questions. She frequently researches at the following special
facilities:
- New Mexico State Records Center and Archives - Santa Fe
- Center for Southwest Research - University of New Mexico
- Special Collections Library - Albuquerque
